- John Roberts, who has abdicated the Supreme Court's role in government and through his decisions, has facilitated the deforming of the government's structure and the debilitation of public education, would like to blame the teachers, thank you very much. www.politico.com/news/2025/05...May 13, 2025 11:24
- This is wrong - Roberts’ 20 year project is to agglomerate power to SCOTUS. Trump v. US is where he misstepped; he thought he was ruling “SCOTUS gets to decide if the Pres did something criminal,” but Trump (rightly) understands it as “the law does not apply to the Pres.”
- The weird flailing Roberts is doing (and will continue to do) is part of his slow realization that he overplayed his hand and Trump won’t hesitate to cut the knees out from under SCOTUS at the critical moment.
- I guess prioritizing money over people will do that.
- As a high school teacher, let me just say that the Chief Justice is both incorrect about the facts of the situation (something that he seems to routinely prefer), and also is an asshole.
