- This from our post election briefing is way of looking at Reform's rise. Of those who would currently vote Reform just 42% of them voted for the Party last year - attracting 2024 Tory, Labour and non voters. Or looked at another way their vote looks similar to a wing of the 2019 Johnson coalition.
- Interesting that you found a large move from Non-voters to Reform, the research I did on non voters in the last general election does suggest these voters mostly come from the demographics Reform will be targeting.
- Yup chimes very closely.
- IMO, both Starmer's recognition that migration is part of Britain's national story, and the warning that without more control "we risk becoming an island of strangers, not a nation that walks forward together" does a pretty good job of capturing where most Brits are on immigration.
