- 🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS: Was just passed this from a fellow service academy grad. A Coast Guard Academy graduate posted this. They are reporting that ICE entered base housing and took a USCG spouse. I can’t confirm this but I’m calling for answers from the Coast Guard and Congress. This is unacceptable.

- 🚨A U.S. born citizen was arrested in Florida for entering the state as an “unauthorized alien.” His mother and a community advocate showed his birth certificate during a hearing in Leon County. The judge said she had no authority to release him.

View full threadHe should have been released immediately, and that cop should at least be suspended while an investigation is conducted. If all law enforcement was following the law, THAT LAW NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!
- I do agree bad policy=bad outcomes and policy changes are needed, but it’s my understanding the state law he was arrested under (SB 4-C) is currently under a temporary restraining order pending judicial review so shouldn’t have even been arrested to begin (under that law at least)

- Trump, Musk, and DOGE would use the power of a shutdown to shift into overdrive. And the courts, one of our best places to fight these autocrats, could quickly run out of money. We can’t let this happen.
