Libs Elliott
Making quilts with code since 2012.
- Japan is even dreamier than I could have imagined.
- I finished the top of Quilt 13 for my Generative Threads project. Only twelve more to go. Used the original #Processing code from 2012 to render the series. #genart #generativetextiles
- Working on a project that I need to get out of my brain.

- The top for Number 13 of 13 generative quilts, designed with #Processing code from 2012, is almost complete! 😅 Downside… I’m working backwards so I still have 12 quilts to go. 😂 #generativequilts #genart #generativetextiles #generativecraft (Do we even use hashtags in Bsky?)
- The other night, my American nephews wanted to watch the Adam Sandler movie ‘50 First Dates’ but I thought they said ‘51st State’ and it shook me to my core.
- Are people setting up Flashes? And, if so, are you really setting up a dedicated account? I’m trying to decide how to proceed…because social media is exhausting and I need efficiency.
- Some of my favourite artists! ♥️
- Compositions in Code: The Art of Processing and p5.js will be on view at the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) in NYC from March 6 – August 24, 2025 Opening March 6th at 7:00 PM: lu.ma/kbs639bj @mariuswatz.bsky.social @liasomething.bsky.social @roberthodgin.bsky.social @mwiederrecht.bsky.social

- I started sewing a repurposed garment yesterday out of these Warhol x Levi’s that never fit me right. But today I’ve decided to leave the project until after QuiltCon. I just want to spend time with my family and not feel the pressure to show up in AZ with ‘all the things’.

- Yesterday, I did my first workout in forever. It’s shocking how out of shape I am, how much my body has changed in the last few years and how a lack of movement has affected my mental health. Starting is the hardest part.

- I think I cried at least once every day this week. But I also laughed so, yeah. Keep going. 🖤
- Hung some quilts up in my studio.
- My Stash Guard.
- So glad I’m a @saqaart.bsky.social member and congrats to Laura on the acquisition. 👏
- A little bat economy block made with some prints from my Phantasm collection which ships this summer. I can’t stop making these…

- This weekend I sewed up a giant block sample for my Mega Pineapple workshop at QuiltCon and I maybe 🤞fixed my dishwasher. Fabrics here are from my Glaze II and Iconic collections.
- Happy Friday. Let’s be gentle with one another after a chaotic week. Acts of kindness in your community go a long way.

- I actually did some sewing. Sample blocks for my Chaos With a Twist class at QuiltCon. Felt so good!
- I keep forgetting to use #quiltsky on my posts but also, I’ll be post more non-quilt things on here than I do on Instagram. Just FYI.
