- This thread is helping me find so many new things to read! I’m a poet, lyricist, & librettist. My most recent poetry collection is A Registry of Omens, dark fantasy & horror, published by @redogrereview.bsky.social.
- Now I’ve got to sit down and synthesize the DECLINE AND FALL piece that ties together Solo, Andor, and Rogue One and somehow not have it be 30,000 words
- For those not aware:
- Ooh, this is super cool!
- Debating over a character singing "My family and my husband's carry an inherited disease" vs "My family and my husband's carry Tay-Sachs." I like the specificity of the latter, but (and it's a good thing) T-S is rarer now than ever before thanks to genetic testing.
- The specificity would send me on a rabbit trail search in the internet/thru the local library. Love when fiction contains those Easter Eggs for readers.
- I love it too! I’ve learned so much from those rabbit holes.

- I’m really impressed by the high level of research that was presented at the International ME/CFS Conference 2025 #mecfsconference, organized by the great @scheibenbogen.bsky.social: events.mecfs-research.org/en/events/co.... I’ll mention a few (personal) highlights: 1/7

- Tomato frog! Ever since I saw a photo of one, I thought I should draw one, as a tomato on the vine. #Art
- I love the idea of these growing in a garden and hopping away to a nearby pond when they’re ripe.
