- Reposted by Kiri CariniIt's worth reading this @thebulletin.org article about preserving the Keeling Curve. Go deeper: Many scientists have trumpeted the scientific—& even cultural—value of long-standing datasets like this, even suggesting that some deserve World Heritage status to protect them. eos.org/opinions/tak...

- Stamen’s blog is always a “don’t skip”. Always interesting and well-written. Something I aspire to in writing and crafting the DevSeed blog.
- Stamen has designed a lot of maps across the carto industry over the years. Read about how Stamen uses tooling to debug maps, as we explore how data, tiles, and stylesheets work together to make beautiful maps. Read now at stamen.com/debugging-10...

- I’m up to three species of hummingbird at my feeder now. I am the definition of “easily distracted by birds.” This is a broad billed hummingbird.
- Reposted by Kiri Carini📢 The final ArcticDEM & REMA release is here - and it might be the last. Funding cuts put vital polar data at risk. Help us rally support: take the survey! 🔗https://z.umn.edu/pgc-dem-survey #PolarScience #SavePolarData

- I got to preview Aimee and Brianna’s talks and let’s just say…🔥
- I love all of these incredible humans who inspire me every day!
- How do we feel about audio versions of blog posts or articles? I like the idea from an increasing accessibility perspective. I sometimes choose to listen to an article myself. What if they were in a playlist, almost like a podcast? Would you use it? What if the voice were an AI voice?
- ok, I wrote this post when I was overwhelmed with like 80 connection requests. Now I have almost 300 after I posted something that got shared a lot. oops.

- That's it. That's the t̶w̶e̶e̶t̶ post.
- The cool thing about doing comms at @developmentseed.org is that I get to learn about all the projects and things we are working on. The downside of doing comms is that I feel like I have to keep up with everything that is happening, and it's actually impossible. 😵💫
- Love is when @uncultured.carinilab.com makes a second batch of coffee when he works from home. #spoiled

- Ya'll know I'm a sucker for zines now. I loved the video of this creator's digital zine process. And also the topic of making the internet enjoyable again. youtu.be/Nou8NEEVBHA?...
- I used to only accept LinkedIn connections if I knew the person. Then, I expanded to accept connections from other geospatial women, whether I knew them in person or not. Now, I get so many connection requests that I can't keep up, but I generally accept most. How do you manage your LinkedIn?

- Sending emails way scarier than posting on social media! I just sent the first DevSeed email communication a month later than I wanted to. Totally agonized over it. But I so deeply believe in the value of what DevSeed has to say & the quality of our team that I sucked up my own anxiety and sent it.

- I think this post offers some good insight into the minds behind how we work and the kinds of things we talk about and do, even when it's not public-facing or for a partner. If you are curious about the topic or even about DevSeed in general, give it a read 😀.
- It’s a bit subtle but spring is definitely here.

- Putting the finishing touches on our summer plans, and I'm getting excited to explore an area we've never been before. Although, it was super tempting to just go back to Montana.
- Just dropping in with a timeline cleanser for you. After 6+ months of no water, the canyon benefited from snowmelt, and the creek flowed again. The desert offers many metaphors for resilience, survival, tenacity, and something beautiful emerging from seemingly insurmountable circumstances.
