Impossible to understate how much Trump II is an elite rebellion against the structures that gave them everything for basically no reason beyond entitlement and boredom, imho.
You took away their toys for four years by voting for functioning governance and they want to punish you for that.
Say what you will, but at least the idea of noblesse oblige held that elites had some kind of responsibility to those they ruled. Today our elites just want to sit on a pile of money groping secretaries and chortling with racists while society burns.
