May 8, 2025 17:52Thank you! I was wondering about that. I remember when Pope John Paul II was selected. It made a difference in bringing down the Iron Curtain. My relatives and their circle of friends are a testament to that. Fingers crossed for America where the religious right has grown increasingly illiberal.
