Can anybody tell the Republicans that constantly stating little kids deserve less is not a winning message to anyone?

I think we shouldn’t tell them tbh
I wish that was as decisively true as you would think.
Maybe you get a different perspective as a professor, but I get so many parents calling to support this crap under the guise of “parent’s rights.”
It’s so often a homeschool parent who runs for their local school board as a book banner.
(No shade on home school in general, it’s 100% the best option for many families, but there is also a certain political movement who use homeschool as a means to intentionally deprive their child of knowledge of as many people and as much history as possible)
