- something that i think is important here is to zero in on the word "democracy" because for too long this concept, in popular imagination, has been flattened into "voter preferences" and not all the important trappings of Constitutionalism

- yeah this stuff was my first question, though my new (and maybe old) assumption is that the president can do anything that no one stops him from doing. authority is dead and it's all power.
