- The generational gap re: understanding trauma is INSANE. I was telling my dad about struggling to handle a clients kids' behavioral issues He said "Oh like autism?", I reply "No, trauma, they witnessed their mom being abused" and he goes "...That'll traumatize a kid?" !!!! UH YEP. YES IT WILL.
