Will keep my eyes open for Gov Beshear in NH. Gov Pritzker was here last week. Hang in there 2028 has already begun.

Beshear will have to navigate the post-McConnell political landscape. McConnell is still beloved by many KY voters, yet hated by most of the country. If Beshear cannot successfully explain/defend his relationship to #MoscowMitch, he'll have trouble in progressive states.

I hope he succeeds and rises to the top. Even Louisiana went for Carter/Clinton's 2 terms - the last time the state voted Dem. Southern charm seems to sway them. TImes have changed, but Beshear might have more of a chance in the South, w Conservatives/Independents in general.

He’d better play hardball and direct his course towards labor and addressing the needs of people so that he can appear part of the people and not smoking mirrors. He has to be flawless at this point.

If we have to elect another white Christian male (and clearly, too many Americans say we must) he’s a marvelous choice. He knows how to reach kitchen table issues without throwing the most vulnerable, like Trans kids, under the bus. We need his anti-elitist attitude and his conviction.
