- Have been inspiring my kid for exam season with tales of the most stupid things I did in exams. And boy, there are plenty. Today’s one: thinking the question for the English paper I’d studied looked boring, so writing an essay for a different question, for a course we hadn’t done.

- Rampage was totally worth it
- The spoof bike stunt in Top Secret, that’s parodying the bike stunt in The Great Escape, is a much better stunt, and much more effectively filmed, than the bike stunt in the Great Escape.
- First film I watched on our exciting Radio Rentals VHS player. Loved it all, except for the Blue Lagoon diversion.
- Can’t tell you how excited I am to have Michael Cordy’s new one finally in my hand. Dynamic, surprising, enquiring. A proper thriller.
