- All of consumer tech seems lost right now. They haven't found a genuine need, but need to continue posting absurd returns. They've been laying off in droves, and not taking risks unless other big firms are taking the same risks. None of them seem to be asking "how can we make peoples' lives easier?"
- The self-driving cars are the possible exception - looking at my elderly relatives coming to the end of their driving days, that could genuinely make their lives easier.
