It's very possible that RCV is just a huge benefit to crooked moderates, who don't get the added scrutiny of a 1-on-1 runoff that existed in the old system.

  If you take out the ranked choice component, Cuomo's support dips to 37%, Mamdani's to 18% and Adrienne Adams' to 9%. A significant 17% still consider themselves undecided, per the poll.
