- An Ohio man checked out 100 library books & burned them. "The books were reportedly on Jewish history, African American history, and LGBTQ+ education." Librarians, pls consider NOT letting patrons take out more than 5-10 books at once. These are dangerous times. www.cleveland19.com/2025/05/12/m...May 14, 2025 01:56
- How do we replace those books? The library is for everyone!
- This article says the community is rallying to donate books, but you could always call the Cuyahoga County Public Library system & ask if they're taking donations to replace individual holdings that were lost. - I'm wondering how he managed to check out 100 books? I've never been in a library that allows more than 5 or 6.
- It's a lot, for sure. Too many. A hundred too many, in this case. One of the articles I read said he went back for more and told them he had a LGBTQ child and so needed to educate himself.
