- Fixation removed. Bones still healing. Xrays fuzzy, which may indicate infection, uncertain with the history. Stitches removed in 2 wks. Strict cone use, limit lick sleeve, as covering wounds wo ex-fix may breed bacteria. Repeat xrays in 4 wks and may remove hw depending upon healing to work up 1/
