- Remember when I posted this? I finished up the research for the second part, comics written from (as best I can discover) 9/3/1939 to 5/9/1940. 516 comics containing 4,570 stories. Of those 4,570 stories, 378 (8.3%) acknowledge the war in some way. 1/
- jfc the reference librarians in this instructional librarian committee just started using ChatGPT to come up with survey questions the barbarians are inside the gates. we have met the enemy and they are us.
- Last year the orcas were sinking yachts. These year they are somehow making aircraft carriers give them F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets. Next year...? ORCAMAGEDDON?
- My wife returns today after about two weeks away, and she left the dreaded order, "Don't leave a mess for me to return to," which means I'm paranoid about what's considered a mess and was up until 3 scrubbing tile with a toothbrush and washing out imaginary bloodstains.
