The Conservative Party hasn't come to terms with this yet but Poilievre lost because no matter how much money he raises for his party, the idea of him being PM raises more money for his opponent. The Cons would have won the election if someone else besides PP was their leader
There was a muzzle placed over all Conservative candidates during the campaign but afterwards some of them started saying they were hearing from people at the door "I like you and I like your policies but what's going on with that weird leader of yours?"
