Words fail to adequately describe, no less justify, the rapid, unchallenged decent into authoritarian fascism and white, male supremacy. The fact that sane and compassionate US citizens are not physically resisting has shown Trump, his henchmen/women and their cult that they can do what they want. 😞
We ARE resisting...the media is not covering all the NATIONWIDE protests and solidarity rallies happening across the country almost weekly.
Over 5 million turned out in the streets April 5th. Millions more on May 1st, Mayday. There have been hordes rallying outside of CNN and Fox headquarters in DC.
We really to a nationwide STRIKE NOW. WTF are we waiting for?!
I don't think we have the proper infrastructure to pull off an effective national strike. Most people are just trying to eat. 😞
We need safety nets in place for the bottom 60% who are living paycheck to paycheck. A national strike would starve a lot of people before it could be effective, IMHO.

I think we need to take lessons from the civil rights era. The ONLY future left in this country is with our neighbors.
We need to shore up our local food banks, provide childcare and housing assistance in our neighborhoods to ensure no one is forgotten if we are able to pull off national strike.
We need to hurry up.
We need to maintain the pressure, keep showing up, flooding their phones. Continue to demand town halls. If you look at what this regime has been able to actually do, it's pretty weak sauce. While they continue to defy the courts, the judicial branch is attempting to maintain some semblance of law.
