- Rich Azzopardi, a spokesman for Andrew Cuomo, said the protesters who stormed the stage to interrupt the former governor during the Black Agenda forum in Brooklyn were “paid protesters” and a “bunch of white gentrifiers who tried to hijack a forum on Black issues.”

- “He is coming for New York,” Andrew Cuomo says about President Trump at the Black Agenda forum. Calls him “a significant force to deal with” and questions whether opponents can handle him but says that he can: “He is not going to run roughshod over New York.”
