- VE Day It’s the ages on the graves that got me the most. Mostly teenagers and twenty somethings. Graves with no name attached. Double graves for reasons you don’t really want to contemplate. All went through hell. Many survived. Scarred. Heroic. Grieving. The greatest generation.
