THIS is what we mean by showing up. Reps Carter, Thompson, Pressley and Sen Markey, went to a detention center where Mahmoud Khalil & Rumeysa Ozturk are being held w/out due process. They didn’t just stand up for their own constituents—they stood together for all because there’s power in numbers.

You need to watch this. Mahmoud Khalil and Rumeysa Ozturk are being held indefinitely—no charges, no due process, no explanation. They don’t even know why they’re locked up. That’s not justice or American.
