- It is beyond infuriating that articles that come from government funded research, for example the WHI, are behind a paywall. I already paid through my taxes.
- In principle I agree, BUT as editor & researcher it’s more complicated than people imagine/ want to acknowledge. Simplest & best short-term solution is 2 post all work on preprint server (all free 2 deposit & access) first. Beyond that it needs complete re-evaluation of scientific publishing.Jan 6, 2025 22:00
