- Have we tried not telling every person living in our society that they're worthless and that nothing they do is ever enough bc I think that would solve a lot of problems
- Change is scary, but you can do things while scared. You know that right. You can just be a better person even if it scares you.
- That doesn't make their side right, it just makes them stubborn as fuck and misguided by all the shit they've been fed. Can't stand to be around em bc they can't have actual conversations, but hope they get better and realize who the actual enemy is sooner rather than later.
- All of you even the ones I would hate if I met in person have worth as people. Even the people I wish didn't have worth as people have worth. If you stopped making each other feel like shit as a "motivator" you'd get a lot more done and you'd hate who they made you into.
- Look around. Is it? Do these look like stable individuals content with themselves and their lives? No. They're all angry, overzealous, and spiteful against anyone who doesn't buy into it and suggests there may be another way. A better way.
- It gets worse in people who never learned to admit they're wrong, so they double down until they drive everyone who ever loved them away, and then they use that to say the other option is bad because it took their precious family.
- The "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality is a direct contributor to this issue. So is Catholicism as a whole. Diet culture, right wing grifters, and tech bros are also all complicit. So much of everything is built on making people feel like shit, and you claimed it was the right way.
- Radical concept I know, but when half the population gravitates to the slop machine to try to make themselves have worth in the eyes of society/their bosses/family/themself... maybe it's worth talking about.
- You inherently have worth as a human it came free with your being alive. You don't need to go go go make more do more no rest make more make new make more go go go to earn that. They tell you otherwise so you'll buy things from them and work until you die.
- My progress on all my projects is going too slow for my brain and it's beating itself up for not being productive enough so we're just gonna start celebrating every minor step in the right direction I mocked up the Vekari TTRPG character creation zine booklet yesterday 😌

- Next is booklets for tracking inventory/spells/cyberware, for custom items/spells/etc, and for the technician job I like customizable TTRPGs and would rather give you traits and stuff to pick from to help you make things than go no this is what you're limited to
