I was in the same boat years ago. I gave it a good thought and decided to leap. If I didn’t like it, I could always move back. Packed up, moved west to the city, found the quaint apartment in the neighbourhood that spoke to me and have never been happier.

You think you have it bad ... I live in a crappy pit of a rooming house owned by a MAGA and my husband is living in our car with our dog. Yeah, we need a change too. And it's not because we don't have money.

I am in Blackfoot! Moved back after 30 years to pursue graduate degree. Now going to try to emigrate to Portugal. Grad school may be irrelevant under this administration...

My family did that almost 3 years ago- a county of 47000 where everyone knew everyone’s business to a county of 750k where there is an adventure on every street and opportunities for those that want to try new things- Best. Decision. Ever.

Did that recently. Left an over 5000 sq ft historic home in a town of 25k, moved to a city of over one million and a smaller home. Change is good. Do it!

We left our house (4 bed 3 bath badly constructed crumbling mess of a house) for RV life and while the RV adventure ended earlier than planned, we learned a lot about small living. I greatly prefer living small to living big. And my dream location is someplace walkable with robust public transit.

Opposite problem looking for a change. Where is the perfect balance? Looking for suggestions 🤷🏻‍♀️
