@holybea.blue now there's just no indication that a post is a reply to a blocked post on @tokimeki.blue ? is this configurable? it makes it look like the person is talking to themselves alone, but when I open the post on bluesky, it shows that it's actually a reply to a blocked contact...

I think that sad feelings may arise when people find out that they are blocked. The thought is that it is appropriate to just block and act as if the person does not exist.

I can understand that point of view, but it's been forcing me to check some posts over on the bsky web to see if the person was replying to someone blocked (either I blocked them or they blocked me), to make sure I'm not interacting with those... maybe, then, put an option to hide replies to blocks?

another thing I thought about just now... I'm experimenting with that image-only column feature for the first time, it's nice, but I'd really like a toggleable button to show everything at once and hide it back, you get the idea?

Does that mean you want to display NSFW or other images without hiding them?

temporarily. kinda like when we use the "Show" link beneath hidden images? And then being able to hide them again, with the hide link?
