- My trainer and I have been working on land (instead of the pool) for the past couple weeks. I told her “I hate this and that is why I want to keep doing it” I’m sure y’all who have met me are not shocked that I have serious balance problems
- One of the best things a person can do is to do something they suck at. It destroys you, spiritually, if you don't experience that process of sucking at something for a long time. If that experience is totally alien to you, like it is to any billionaire sex pest freak.
- I need to work past Gym Class Trauma and really nail this shit if I want to actually improve my strength and balance. Hell, I can barely manage a solid stance
- Trainer: your right leg is far stronger than your left leg Me: weird right? I don’t know why -does a squat, old left knee injury screams at me- Me: oh right
- I wish I could find a good pool for exercise, cuz I feel like if I could swim laps once or twice a week that would help me. I have other stuff but I dunno, I suck at trying things I know I’m not good at or will like.
- I probably would never have made it onto land if I hadn’t started in the pool ❤️
