It's concerning. My wife and I will just talk about something, and then it's being advertised to us the next time we open up a browser, even if neither of us did a search.

Just saw a segment on the Daily Show last night with people who think these live AI chatbots are their girlfriends. One guy even would go on "dinner dates" with his. He'd photograph his meal and send it to her and chat with her the whole time. What are we doing?

Do you have an Android phone? I have a Pixel so they keep pushing this crap, but I changed my default browser to DuckDuckGo. I prefer Pixel to iPhone but I'll probably switch next time I get a phone.
