- I feel like there are more nasty trolls on Bluesky every day. Maybe it's inevitable. At least Bluesky deals with the worst of it but... man, if your life is so bad that you come here just to start trouble with people, maybe go for a walk instead.
- I've noticed way more right wingers and MAGA sorts on here in the past month or so than before too. Have to be more selective of who I follow and quick with the block button!

- Mathews is not willing to do what it takes,especially if it means he might get hit! He's fine initaing contact, not so much when on the receiving end of it. Good on face-offs and in the D zone...or the soft areas.
- One of the networks reported he's playing with an injury to his back. That might explain some of the contact issue, but this has been a trend with multiple Leafs players for years now. They get tender and start avoiding hits and it costs them.
- NHL new rule suggestion: When a penalty comes at the end of a game, it carries over to the next game. #GoHabsGo
- I like the concept, but so many issues. If it happens in Game 7? Do you do it in the regular season? And if so, does the penalty carry over to the next time both teams play (which could be a year)?

View full threadThat sucks, are you on the East Coast? We’ve been getting well above average temps this spring, but it’s never truly safe here until after the May long, haha. We’ve been hauling our flowers in and out too.
- Newfoundland (west coast of the island). And same regarding the end of May. Been camping many a night in tent in my youth only to wake up freezing with the tent covered in snow on May 24 weekend!
- Just checking the forecast as I have to drive 5.5 hours on the highway tomorrow and it's 35 degrees in Manitoba, while it's currently 0 here and snowing. Dropping to -1 overnight, but supposed to be 3 by the afternoon. A lot of people's plants are going to take a beating tonight.
- Kids have recently got super into Batman/the Bat Family. Miles discovered we had a Batgirl costume but no utility belt. Made one out of duct tape, spray paint, construction paper, and scotch tape. Need to make another pouch still, but I think I nailed it.
- Love Batman. Much better than Bateman.

View full threadI understood he said there were other ways to improve the 2nd line other than center. He mentioned high end forward as another way. Demidov is already on the team. It’s either another center or winger.
- But he didn't say another player. He just said it doesn't have to be a centre to drive a line, that a winger can be a play driver. I think he was alluding to Demidov as a play driver.
