- Going through some old comics boxes and found this sketch that John Cassaday drew for me when I was a teenager
- I think it took me a while to remember how influential Cassaday's work was for me I'm now certain that the day I randomly flipped through a copy of PLANETARY #3 at a shop in the mall shaped the trajectory of my art career

- Dr. Hospital is the name of the building where they do the medical stuff
- Imagine that skin grew like hair. Just endless loose billowing amounts of skin draping behind you like some kind of flesh cape that got longer the older you got. Your fingers would be the normal length in terms of bones, but then be a foot or so longer of just loose empty flappy skin. Imagine.

- always find these pieces (by Jean Fouqet) striking whenever I come across them because they occupy this delicious 1450's middle ground between the older Gothic school and the newer, more detailed Renaissance work.
