- Sadly it won't change because their support is localised so they'll never get any real power ergo they'll never be held to account. They'll remain a strong party of racist, xenophobic protest.

- Quite right. We need a lot more of it. And soon. The country is a mess.
- Everton Football Club is proud to announce that Goodison Park will become the permanent home of Everton Women from the start of the 2025/26 season! 🔵
- Classiest club in Liverpool.

- 👏?! Don't you mean BOOOOOOOO?!

- Hi
- [Not loaded yet]
- No. We haven't earned six. We probably earned about two.
- "What happened to you’ll never walk alone? Clearly, you do in some people’s eyes if you run down your contract and decide to move to Real Madrid for nothing." @jamespearcelfc.bsky.social on Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool and the booing of one of their own ⬇️ 🔗 www.nytimes.com/athletic/634...
- Classless club. Always the victims, yet they treat their players like that. So glad they're gonna fall apart in the next few years.
- Reminder that "gosh, I wish I was a lesbian" is not a thing that cisgender men think.
-
View full threadI assure you I'm not. I have no desire to be a woman
- I'm an ally. But I'm definitely aggressively cis myself 😂

- Can't see this post as I've blocked them. What did they say?
- [Not loaded yet]
- Agree.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Massive missed opportunity this season. Said it all along - Liverpool aren't all that.
- Erm. That's just not true. I'm a cisgender man and I often think that haha.
- 26th April 2023. @arsenalfc.bsky.social lose to man city to surrender the league title they'd unexpectedly challenged for. 1/
- If someone had told me then that we would go the next two full seasons (and an extra game that season) without losing to the big six, I'd have bet my house on us winning at least one but quite possibly two league titles. Great though the stat is, it's appalling that we haven't won one. 2/2
- Guess which is going wind up killing more Americans.
- Probably already has.

- For me it's hleb that is most surprising. Wilshere was injured so much it doesn't surprise me as much.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Absolutely he can. Basically he can play in any central role other than centre back. I think the same is probably true for Havertz though he won't play in the six. All gonna be about flexibility next year to take us to a new level.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Nah the big signing this summer will be a major striker who will start the majority of games when fit.
- [Not loaded yet]
- He will play in the six at times too. Flexibility of the squad is gonna be great.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Rotation will be key. Both Havertz and merino will play up front at times, and hopefully in the right 8 too so Odegaard doesn't get overworked again. Rice will play 6 at times. So they're not competing for one starting spot really.
- Alex hleb really only got 7? Wow. If it wasn't you I wouldn't believe it haha.

View full threadMaybe but even in the invincibles era we did it from time to time. Eboue got it back in 05ish.
- I'm not excusing what the Liverpool fans did. But glass houses...

- Theo was the one I had in mind. He was booed for years. Ramsey got it for a while too. As did various others.
- Right that does it. Ive voted tactically for @uklabour.bsky.social in the past but that was to keep out the UKIPified tory party. Now that Starmer is going down the UKIP road, im done. We need real change, and only @libdems.org.uk can provide that.

- That's not who I'm thinking of at all. I'm thinking of various people but the most significant of whom was one who gave us all of his best years and scored over a hundred goals for us.
- Honestly? The $400M plane from Qatar is quaint compared to his crypto scam, memecoin con, insider trading, and tariff shakedowns.
- Yes but this is the most outrageously obvious corruption. At least the others carried some kind of risk...
- [Not loaded yet]
- I'm worried about him.
- Just curious, what’s the tariff on a $400 million jet from Qatar?
- Can be anything but since it's always a percentage and he isn't paying anything... (almost like that's why they're doing it isn't it!!)
- I absolutely think our fans would do that. They have done in the past. We have the worst fans in the country.

- Yes but i have a feeling delap may have peaked, whereas Ferguson has more potential.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Id prefer Ferguson over delap if we go for that. But I also think that is wishful thinking.
- Nelli is massively underrated. I think we need a right winger more to give saka competition and backup. Ideally someone who can play both sides though - and Williams fits that.

- Think someone needs to ask her what the person on whom the religion is based believed in
- Yep. But everyone told them they would.
- Come on you gunners tonight I'm soooooooo nervous you wouldn't believe... Come on you gunners 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 #gunners #coyg #nervous #arsenal #championsleague
- Gone for the same shirt tonight too. Is it me or is it a particularly "winning" shirt? I know it was a cup winning one...
- You get a free ticket to see the World Cup final, but it's in the USA. Would you go?
- Not while Herr OrangeUtan is in office.
- First they came for the oil — but we were too wee. Then they took the EU — but we were too poor to cope alone. Now it’s our water — are we too stupid? Funny how Scotland’s resources are always shared... But its voice never is. #ScotlandDecides

- I think you should read above mate. Quite the opposite.
- Need this today, not gonna lie.

View full threadIn Paris I’m not sure I share your confidence but I hope you’re right!
- I didn't say I was confident. There's a flaw: we haven't played like we can do since... Well, since Real Madrid....
- We may not like it but we need it. Sort of like our vegetables.
- I disagree. If we play like we can we can smash this lot.
- Londoners and Brightonians are very welcome to move up here and help us win independence. Just to say though — we’re not looking to be “set free.” Sovereign nations don’t need permission — just recognition. 😉
- You are being kept prisoner at the moment haha. Youre not (yet) a sovereign nation. What if we don't fancy the cold and dark? We like it here, we just share your values rather than those of most of the rest of the UK.
- 🤢

- The other is that it wouldn't have made a damn difference because he was such a mediocre performer for Arsenal.
- Not the point. It was outrageous. Also you don't know. Plenty of people have had just one good moment for their clubs. Torres won the CL for Chelsea!!
- I'm English. I love Scotland. I wish they'd stay with us. But I absolutely think we should set you free so you can get away from the fash. Can you please invade and take London and Brighton off them?
- Lad, the EU are ignoring a genocide. I doubt they're gonna overturn a penalty.
- I think he probably meant uefa. Funny though this would be.
- I can't focus.
- Just do what I've done and write it off. We won't win tonight. I'm supremely relaxed.
- I think you can probably soon change "on average" to "in total".
- That loud flushing sound? Labour votes going down the drain. (Hardly surprising given how they have been carrying on, but distressing to see given what that implies for 2029 and beyond.)

View full threadI think you're right. As an outsider looking in, I think Starmer is missing a trick here. the ECHR exit stance will backfire for RFM & CON. if Starmer softened his brexity red lines...to, let's say, a "soft" rejoin of the single market. He could turn the tide.
- I agree, but then I would. Would the red wall agree... Yet?

- Sounds great until you remember that last week you were telling us we had never lost to them
