- I drove to Kaukauna last month to speak to legislators about the need for: 🧠 Expanded mental and behavioral health services 🩵 Resources to ensure vulnerable folks are cared for 🏗️ Efforts to promote affordable housing Tell your legislators YOUR priorities: legis.wisconsin.gov/topics/budge...
- Public service is under attack right now. That’s why I funded a scholarship at our local tech college to support and recognize future public servants. One young, working elected official can’t fix everything—but I’ll always stand up for the folks who serve our communities.
- It was an eight hour wait, but I was glad to speak to Wisconsin’s Joint Finance Committee in Wausau about my constituents’ priorities for the state budget: 🏘️ Housing and resources to support unsheltered folks, 💧Funds for PFAS testing and remediation, and 📚An education system that works for EVERYONE
- I’m proud to stand with my colleagues—and millions of Americans—calling out attempts to cut Medicaid funding. One county can’t require the federal government to keep Medicaid funding stable, but we need to raise our voices and ensure Congress knows where our community stands on this.
