i don't want a shutdown, btw, shutdowns are bad for everyone and hurt everyone. i just think that the likelihood that:
- thune and cornyn can make deals with enough dems to get 60
- musk stays out of it and doesn't spook congressional republicans
- johnson can get enough house reps on board
is low
