Honestly we need a six season HBO multi-character show about the French Resistance, following both resisters and collaborators, with each season one year from 1940 to 1945.
The French were good, but the Polish were awesome. Fuck, they all were. They knew the risks and went into resistance with open eyes despite the possibility not only of death, but also torture.
I would also like to see the Czechs get more cred. We killed a whole commander! They killed entire towns in retaliation. There are cannibalism rumors about it! We were out here swinging.
