- tbh i feel gross even having to clarify that i didn't use AI. i had someone (kindly) ask this about a tarot deck i spent !!!7!!! years illustrating and it made me feel ill. but at the same time i get it because etsy is flooded in ai-generated slop and the avg person can't tell the difference lol
- Owww No cause like I was reading a zine the other week and just stopped dead at a particular artist's style because. Every single instinct was telling me it was AI (airbrush style, etc). I KNEW it wasn't AI because every artwork had a sketch version! But my brain was still screaming it's AI 😭😭😭
- yeaah i'm starting to have those responses too, and it's sad. i always give benefit of the doubt because i rly dislike how people dogpile artists suspected of using ai (just bc of commonly-mimicked art styles or inexperience drawing hands) but it sucks it's in the water now

- i think i still prefer the notebook app because it has pages and feels more sketchbook-y (plus atelier has a couple of annoying usability quirks) but the more realistic brushes are nice
