Jokes and stuff sure but in all honesty, I don't want Star Wars Day anymore. Star Wars was once a thing. Now it's commodified, Disney slop content (Exception Andor). The soul of it is gone. It's always been about toys and merchandise, but Lucas really did care about it. Disney doesn't, why should I.
Agree. Loved it all until recently and own thousands of dollars of merch. But it just feels weird and impersonal now. I'd like to support a more egalitarian popular media franchise instead.
