  "What if I put a trans MC in my book, and it bombs?" Do it anyway. Trans folk deserve to see themselves in their favorite flavors of fiction. Even if your book never reaches outside its niche, success can take many forms. Your story can still become someone's favorite.

    "What if I put a trans MC in my book, and it bombs?" Do it anyway. Our stories are meaningful & appealing to people who aren't awful. "Magica Riot" has a trans girl protagonist (and a second trans girl in the main cast) and it's sold nearly 2,700 copies in six months. Trans characters *can* sell.
