I’m not surprised
The hate against EU citizens following Brexit has made many to reconsider them staying in UK
And in fact, according to ONS, more than 100,000 EU citizens, net, leave the UK to the EU each year.
So the Brexit hate was a success from a net migration point of view…

Have you experienced hate? Genuine question. I moved in '96 to UK from The Netherlands, I never experienced any hate after Brexit, Brits actually seem to quite like it I'm Dutch. Starmer's remarks are appalling for their stupidity, not because I suddenly expect to get hate.
I have been made extremely uncomfortable even by a husbands friend once who asked me when I was going to go home. Home meaning France.
I was looked at for speaking French in the street. That was after the vote in a high remain city .
