- Alles gut. :-) Wollt auch nur den Punkt machen, dass ich eben sehr spezifisch über bestimmte Akteure rede, und eben nicht über die Wählerschaft. Wobei man da auch fragen muss, ob die AfD vielleicht eher Projektionsfläche ist und hinterher alle doof gucken (auch da cf. Trump) Aber anderes Thema. :-)

- Prinzipiell ruckelt das schon alles irgendwie gemeinsam. Aber das passiert über Jahrhunderte oder Jahrtausende. Beim nächsten Istanbul-Beben heißt "kurz bevorstehend" so in den nächsten paar Jahrzehnten. Es ist nicht mal klar ob meine Generation dann noch lebt.

- Since I'm immunocompromised I get them routinely every year together with flu. For healthy individuals <60 every five to ten years is probably more than sufficient. But it's likely simpler to get covid/flu annually as a routine.

- Actually quantum physics is a rather major part of studying chemistry and no, it's really not that outlandish or difficult.
- A product of advanced chemistry. There is no material in there that exists in Nature.
- I have to add that it's not just tht the materials are not found in nature, they are exquisitely hine-tuned to their task on atom-level. Also: photolithography is a fully chemical process.

- They haven't done anything so far. Also, completely dependent on fine-tuned materials produced by chemistry.
- I find it striking how much #chemistry changed over the last 25 years. When I was at university it was mostly the art of the possible. Today it's about finding ways to make even the most incredible thing happen. I just came across this study about a Carbene that actually forms in water. Amazing!
