Ahh, it happened - someone is impersonating me on Discord!
I never do comms via Discord or Telegram, and my official handle will be present on my actual discord account.
I DO NOT send unsolicited invoices, friends or family requests etc - always verify before any payment happens!
May 7, 2025 03:47I have a business Discord account that's separate from my privy Discord since so many Furries insist on it or Telegram but honestly...I'm wondering if, in this impersonator climate, I should just return to requiring email correspondence or DM from my vetted accounts to not risk folks being fooled.
I only go through email because it provides an easy way to confirm details without getting cluttered with chit-chat the way DMs can.
It also provides a nice record, which is what I prefer having for client and artist security. Myeah, something to think on.
Some of my clients prefer email and it definitely helps keep things organized.
