- Yeah, US one has some bug fixes and improved graphics. It’s a little later. It really is a shame about no branching paths in any of the versions though.
- I really loathe how much time and energy I spend just trying to mute and mask chronic pain long enough to think straight and get anything done lately. It's so frustrating.
- I’ve been struggling a lot with that too. The constant pain I think eats into my mental bandwidth.
- Memory-mapped I/O is beautiful in C
- Remember M2? Apparently City Connection doesn't & they're releasing their own Toaplan Collections for PS5 & Switch in August Vol.1 Flying Shark, Same3 Tiger Heli Ultimate TIGER Out Zone Fixeight BATSUGUN Dogyun Vol.2 Zero Wing Hellfire Slap Fight V-Five TATSUJIN Tatsujin Ou Vimana Daisenpu Y5940

View full threadyeah, seems very unlikely now. Sucks as their ports are always great but the way they handled the Toaplan games was awful I doubt these ports will be as good but they'll at least exist in a timely manner for a sane price
- I’ve got their Twin Cobra and Fire Shark packs and I thought they were really good
- yeah, most older hardware didn't have anything much in terms of input lag. ST-V & Saturn are similar but they're still fundamentally different too. Most SS games are 0-1f, same way most arcade games are 0-1f Garegga arcade was an odd one as it was 3-4f on PCB but the SS port purposely reduced it
- Yeah, another reason for me to not like Garegga that much heheh
- Rear Widnow is a story about what men had to do to survive before there were World War II documentaries.
- There was this, but no VHS player to play it on ;) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory...
- They’re emulating the Saturn version of Batsugun though, fwiw. Was that one as low as 0-1 you think? It does feel snappy enough on real hw.
- Also they’re doing OutZone and FixEight? That’s awesome. I was holding out for M2 to do those but that might not happen I guess.
- I'm sure it was noticed in development but was just accepted, like clipping polygons or w/e. It's only really noticeable in the shmups tbh & even there it's not a huge disaster, things just feel a little off but when you add in 3-5f on the ports too so you're into 7-12f+ territory, oof
- Yeah. It really adds up. The only ST-V game I have hands on experience with is Die Hard Arcade, but every move is fully animated (lagged) anyway so it doesn’t hurt much.
