What's really sickening to me about this Yemen story is the fact that our government murdered 53 people and... nobody here really gives a shit. Not Democrats, not Republicans, not the U.S. media either.
If you look at how the story is covered internationally, the headline is - obviously! - that the U.S. government murdered 53 people.
But here, it's all about Signal messages and leaks and how these conversations were maybe kinda sorta possibly illegal. Aren't we missing the main point here? Our government murdered 53 people!
From what I can piece together, what happened here is: Hegseth's team wanted to target 1 guy in Yemen. They found the guy entering his girlfriend's building. So they... instantly bombed the entire building, killing dozens of innocent people, including small children?
Mar 27, 2025 20:21This is an absolutly heinous war crime! Hegseth and Waltz and Vance belong at the Hague, followed by an eternity burning in hell! And we're sitting here blabbing about text messages?
It's disgusting the way the establishment in this country - again, including Democrats and Republicans and the media - normalizes atrocities like this.
"absolutely," obviously. I'm too outraged to type properly.
