📌 Following this morning's address by European Council President António Costa, the EUI hosted a keynote speech by Kata Tüttő, President of the European Committee of the Regions, focusing on internal and external security for a more cohesive Union.

"We need all levels of leadership in this moment. Cities and regions are not only implementers; they are innovators and protectors of Europe’s resilience. The freedom and future of our communities depend on it."
🗣️ Reflecting on Europe's future, EUI Prof. Anton Hemerijck challenged the overly cautious narrative in many EU policy debates:
"Europe already has high-quality democracies, stable institutions, social cohesion, and prosperity. That’s our foundation—not something to defend, but to build from."
