That's not how it works. A publishing company has to come to WB, make a licensing deal for novels, and then it can go on from there. It's not in my hands.

  So, even if the show doesn't go through, it'd still be up to them to allow an exploration of the concept in another medium like novels or what have you and that would be a whole new set of hoops to jump through.
