Deeply weird to me that there are a lot of people who compare wanting robots with slave ownership while effectively taking the stance that every little thing they that they cannot or will not do themselves must necessarily be done by a human or they simply won't get the same satisfaction.
May 13, 2025 20:09We need things like UBI to ensure these benefits are universally felt, but there are a lot of people who seemingly derive satisfaction from a real person having to jump through hoops for them — and it's not the pro-AI/robotics crowd.
