I'm not a lawyer, nor do I work for the New York Times, but I'm pretty sure corruption does not require an explicit quid pro quo.
Serious question here…why screenshots? I keep seeing them instead of reposts, so I can’t easily read the original posts. Was told by one person to google it, if I knew how!
One easy way is to Google, for example, "Eric Lipton NYT social media" and Google shows me the person's accounts. Then I can go to their X or Bluesky or FB account and take a look. The other way is to Google the beginning of their quote: "Eric Lipton NYT Corruption requires explicit".
I am NOT going to google a broken thread and spend :30 min and several clicks to read what should be a one click and stay on same platform for a few seconds.
Fine. Assume he’s a dickhead.
