Then remember this book sells MENTAL decline.
In their first big purported scoop (again, remember they're supposed to be arguing MENTAL decline), they describe hypothetical discussions: Possible use of a wheel chair in the future. They bill this as deception but BIDEN DIDN'T USE A WHEELCHAIR.
What kind of ableist bullshit is this?
Then they describe aides trying to prevent falls -- something that was repeatedly reported contemporaneously, and is something done with all seniors, and indeed, people generally.
Let me remind you again, they claim to be reporting on MENTAL decline.
Next up: Biden's doctor was concerned he was too vigorous.
Alex and Jake: Biden's people hid why he walked funny.
Biden's aides -- and really, anyone who read Biden's publicly released medical reports: No they didn't.
It's not until 570 words of a 764 word story before Alex and Jake prevent what these poor schlubs believe is proof -- PROOF!!!!!! -- of their purported thesis: Mental decline.
The PROBLEM with this is I caught little Alex IGNORING evidence that Biden's worst mental failures were about age.
