- The tylenol has worn off 3 hours early so I'll be standing in the walk-in cooler if anyone needs me.
- Every time I hear Adam Lambert's "What do you want from me?" I think of the kid in my highschool history class who yelled "to be straight" in response one day when it came on during study hour and I hope he's doing ok and living his gayest life.
- Hurt my back moving boxes of rotisserie chickens yesterday so it's time to house some tylenol and do it again today 🥲 I love my job i love my job i love my job
- I'm not sure i get paid enough for strangers to shove flowers in my face saying "don't these smell like piss?"
- Visited mom with offering of rose bush, visited MIL with mandevilla and kalanchoe. Was not snapped at by any dogs. Successful mother's day indeed.
- 10 accounts with the same name and profile picture (just slightly different handles) followed me within 3 minutes and one of them had the nerve to put "I'm not a bot! Stop blocking me!" In their bio 😂 all blocked as soon as the notifications hit.
- So far my birthday gifts have been: 1) A card with money 2) The work oven breaking down mid-bake (bad) 3) A last-minute invitation to a graduation ceremony tomorrow morning 😮💨 4) Big Sad 5) Someone else running the deli counter (good)
- The local rabbits like munching on leaves from the bulbs I planted and I'm so torn between "this is the natural order, I chose those plants because they are native" and running into my front yard in my robe yelling "GO AWAY BUNNIES; LEAVE MY FLOWERS ALONE!"
- Just saw a groundhog the size of an eastern cottontail so I'm guessing it was pretty young? First time I've ever seen one that small.
