- To be clear, as of now the NDNP—which was the program digitizing new papers for ChronAm and was a partnership between the NEH & LoC—is what’s been shut down. So *for now* the issue is nothing new will be added to ChronAm going forward, not the existing site—run by the LoC—going down

- Carla Hayden is an inspiration to so many in the library profession. People outside of that profession probably don't even realize how much. She certainly became an inspiration to me. She will be missed as our chief librarian.
